Members helped the National Youth Leadership Council host the largest gathering of youth and practitioners involved in the service-learning movement. After serving, members were free to learn from the most comprehensive service-learning professional development opportunity in the world!

To engage students in learning, City of Lakes members incorporate technology into their tutoring sessions. This may include utilizing the iPod touch, iPads, and eReaders. An outside consultant is conducting a 3-year evaluation of the impact technology integration has on student outcomes.
